AEM Migration

The project involved creating a cohesive design system with the client visual designers to modernize the user exprience and improve the visual cohesion on the client's digital platforms. Deloitte's role in this project included providing expertise in UX/UI design, development, and strategic consulting to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience. The design system is created hand in hand with a development team to ensure the ability to create all elements in the Adobe Experience Management platform.

Owner Experience Redesign

2 months

Worked with a major vehicle manufacturer to create dev ready designs that revamped the owner experience, this covered updating the UX and UI of multiple pages while keeping the core identity of the existing platform. The designs were created in two parts, one that was feasible for the client development timelines and a blue sky approach that could be explored further on at a later time. The latter designs took advantage of the chance to potentially update many old components created for the original website.

Design System Development

The project involved creating a comprehensive and cohesive design system to enhance the user experience across the client's digital platforms. Deloitte's role in this project included providing expertise in UX/UI design, development, and strategic consulting to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience.

• Helped develop a robust design system that includes a set of standardized design principles, guidelines, and reusable components. This system ensures consistency in design and user experience across all the client's digital products.

• Created a library of reusable UI components was created, which can be used across various client's platforms. These components are designed to be flexible and adaptable, ensuring they can be easily integrated into different applications while maintaining a consistent look and feel.

• Developed the design system to align with the client's's brand identity, ensuring that all digital products reflect the organization's visual and experiential standards. This includes consistent use of colors, typography, icons, and other design elements.• Created comprehensive documentation to support the design system, including guidelines on how to use the components, best practices, and examples.

• The design system was built to be scalable and flexible, allowing it to grow and adapt as the client's digital products evolve. This ensures that the design system remains relevant and useful over time.

Delivery Platform Modernization

The primary objective of the project was to explore methods of modernize the aging IT infrastructure and improve the efficiency, accessibility, and responsiveness of benefit delivery services. The project involved workshopping product solutions with realistic, and effective AI applications.

• Aided in the refinement of prioritized use cases based on consultations with business teams and articulated hypotheses for testing in partnership with client product owners

• Served as UX designer helping identify eligible use cases for a paper prototype test to serve as the art of the possible and to help illustrate methodology for research and testing of possible implementations.

• Created and delivered a multi flow digital Figma prototype, assessing viability through sizing of opportunity, and understanding high level desirability and feasibility.

• Created and facilitated various workshops with the client team on both internal working group and cross stream teams to better understand desirability and feasibility for potential solutions.

Healthcare Modernization

17 months

This project involved leverage existing systems built to refresh the employee/manager schedulers user experience for a healthecare plaform. The platform aimed to  allow employees to check their schedules, make requests for time off all the way to managers taking care of their units and much more.

• Served as a Product Designer creating flows, wireframes, and dev ready mock ups for multiple stories, applying Human Centered Design throughout the sprint cycle. Working alongside business, research, and dev to create best possible solutions for users that satisfied requirements and fit within technical limitations.

• Created multiple high-quality prototypes for user testing and worked with researchers to enhance designs as needed based on feedback received.

• Provided ongoing support to engineering team during build by supplying updated designs as needed, graphics, and regular check ins for the designs leading up to release.

Insurance Quoter Interface

5 months

Served as the primary UI designer for a product workstream building out an insurancequoter for a major financial institution.

• Created 150+ designs for both desktop and mobile screens using the clients design system and contributed to their library when required for the best user experience. Also created multiple prototypes to fully demonstrate experience and interaction as required for presentations, showcasing full end to end flows as well as specific interactions.

• Researched and presented multiple ways to improve accessibility of overall experience and worked with clients’s accessibility audit team to ensure the designs had UX/UI that was accessible by AODA standards.

• Aided the UX design of various screens and sections based on discussions within the design team and client feedback.

• Provided ongoing support to engineering team during build by supplying annotated designs, graphics, and regular check ins for the designs.

Platform Modernization

17 months

Worked on modernizing internal, client employee facing platform that was used by a major financial institution tied to the government.

• Participated in multiple user research sessions, providing support to lead user researcher. Conducted various alignment sessions with client to determine user experience requirements for multiple flows through product.

• Worked in a diverse team of Business Analysts, Data Designers, PMs, and Engineers to build a holistic user experience backed by user research and client feedback.

• Created a variety of UX and UI assets and screens for 10+ features in a range of flows across the product, presented and reviewed with clients on a regular basis.

• Worked with the engineering team to create functional user experiences that were feasible within the limits of the platform while keeping a user centered focus.

• Created multiple prototypes in FIGMA for various flows and journeys to present and highlight end to end experience during client meetings and presentations.

• Provided ongoing support to engineering team during build by supplying annotated designs, graphics, and regular check ins for the deployed designs.

Private Health Insurance

4 months

Took over as sole designer working on an app for a Canadian company that provides health and dental insurance, administration, and care services. Worked with client to develop multiple screens and UI assets for mobile application aligned with work started by previous experience designer.

Provided constant design support to engineering team during build phase of project for completed screens, as well as creating and packaging additional resources when needed.
